The Kidogo Arthouse is an independent art centre situated on Fremantle’s favorite local beach.The building dates back to the 1870's and was originally built to store explosive goods! Ironically the interior proportions lend superbly to the exhibition of art works. Dolphins frolic in the surf beneath our windows. Musicians and singers love the acoustics. Playwrights and actors find the intimate environment perfect for performing original works. Visual, performing & literary artists can book the gallery for solo -shows, installations, private viewings, screenings, launches, readings, workshops, recordings and performances. Kidogo supports an Artist-in-Residence program.
