Araluen’s Fremantle Chilli Festival (10th – 11th Mar 2012)

Araluen’s Fremantle Chilli Festival takes place annually in March as a celebration of all things chilli! Featuring a diverse range of stallholders, Masters of Menu cooking demonstrations, live music and more, this is a wonderful celebration of the culinary and cultural aspects of the humble chilli. Blues and Roots Festival (1st April 2012)

Fremantle street arts festival (18 Nov – 4 Dec 2012)

Blessing of the fleet (late October, 2012)

The Blessing of the Fishing Fleet is a well-established religious and civic tradition in the City of Fremantle. It is a reminder of the religious traditions of the Italian people, especially those from Molfetta and Capo d’Orlando. Enjoy the parade from St Patrick’s Basilica to the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour and return and celebration at the Esplanade Reserve.


Seafood Festival (late October, 2012)

New to 2012 and in conjunction with the Blessing of the Fleet, the Seafood Festival will showcase a variety selection of fresh local seafood for the whole family to enjoy.


Harbour Christmas Lights (1 November 2012 – 6 January, 2013)

Enjoy the end-of-year festive season evenings with the beautiful Christmas light displayed along Mews Road and the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour.
