Recently renovated to reveal panoramic views of the harbour from every seat in the house, 15 year old Char Char, looks brand new. With stunning interior design, it features multiple levels, a hanging glass fire place, bi fold doors opening onto the newly revamped piazza and a variety of dining spaces. There’s casual high tables and a lounge area ideal for a beer, a cocktail, or something from the bar menu.

This full service restaurant has a focus on Australian and in particular West Australain products.  Prime Australian Beef is the hero of the menu, aged for a minimum of six weeks, and Char Char is Perth’s most awarded steak restaurant.  Also on offer is a good range of sea fare, expect fresh oysters and perfectly cooked Barramundi fillets.  You can also find other dishes such as Kangaroo, served perfectly to be full of flavour and mouthwateringly tender.

On weekends you can often find local bands playing live jazz or blues music, it’s also a pretty good spot to watch the sunset over Bathers Beach.
