The widely acclaimed WA Day Festival Fremantle returns by popular demand to the world renown Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour in a stunning showcase of Western Australian performing arts and world culture!
A cultural explosion featuring world heritage and culture, music, dance, cuisine and arts showcasing the rich cultures that collectively represent our truly unique Western Australian community.
Traditional and contemporary performances and attractions will provide a stimulating cultural experience for event attendees, with colour, energy and excitement.
Presented on WA Day, Monday June 3 2024 from 11am—5.00pm throughout the harbour featuring Mews Park, Bathers Beach and the WA Shipwrecks Museum.
The festival will encourage the Western Australian community to come together to celebrate, share and value cultural diversity.
Set against the magnificent backdrop of the harbour, Bathers Beach and the WA Shipwrecks Museum, a stellar cast of professional artists in glamorous costumes will ignite the stage and present a spectacular, dazzling array of performances representing Oceania, Asia, Europe and South America in an energy charged representation of our Western Australian multicultural community.
Glamorous fashion showcases featuring intricate and inspiring Western Australian creations , stunning Latin music and fiery Samba dancers, authentic ancient traditional Aboriginal Australian performances, the Absolute Kylie Show, children’s attractions and so much more will feature throughout the festival grounds in celebration of WA Day.
The sounds of Samba music will intermingle with Rio Carnivale – The Showgirls Crown will fire onto the stage with glamorous fashion parades leading onto show stopping Can Can dancers, exhilarating Mexican dancers, Latin American music, and so much more!
A dedicated Children’s Entertainment Program and attractions will be an important feature of the festival.
Engaging activities will encourage inclusion in an event that celebrates a sharing of cultures, stories and community engagement.
As the sun sets over the iconic Bathers Beach, witness the magnificent Indian Ocean Sunset, with dazzling fire artists closing the celebrations for WA Day Festival Fremantle 2024.
